The everyday occasions
We love the idea of a restaurant that belongs to the ordinary bits of life as much as the milestones. A quick supper after a long day. A catch-up that needed to happen. Lunch with someone you have not seen in far too long.
Room for everyone at the table
A neighbourhood place should be easy to understand. A menu you can read without a glossary. A team you can ask questions. A welcome that does not depend on whether it is your first visit or your fiftieth.
Built for a little lingering
In the Solstice design, warm walls and simple wooden chairs do a quiet job. There is candlelight when the evening draws in, enough space for another plate and a sense that you do not need to rush through the good part.
See you next time
This restaurant is imaginary, but the feeling behind it is familiar. We wanted to create a place you could picture returning to: for the food, for the company, and for the small comfort of knowing where you would like to sit.
